About the Artist
Forrest Frank
Faith drives Forrest Frank, first and foremost. His authentic songwriting, inexhaustible hustle, precise attention to detail, and undeniable talent stem from his unwavering and unshakable belief. With billions of global streams and sold-out arenas everywhere, he has become one of the most impactful artists in modern Christian music. His faith and hard work have carried the multi-platinum Houston-born singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer through unbelievable trials and tribulations—from losing loved ones to even surviving a potentially life-altering back injury. A life devoted to Christ has elevated him to household name status cemented by a string of record-smashing milestones, five DOVE Awards, three GRAMMY® Award nominations, and packed tours (even selling 470,000+ advance tickets for his biggest headline run to date, 2026’s history-making The Jesus Generation Tour). Faith is the foundational bedrock of everything he does as an artist, husband, father, friend, son, and man of God. As he plots more music, Forrest leans on Jesus above all. As the story goes, he tirelessly grinded to launch a career in music. After finding success in Surfaces, he chose to pursue another path as a solo artist. Family life took precedence. He enjoyed a year away from the road and welcomed the onset of fatherhood for the first time. At the right moment, music called to him again. Operating independently, he wrote, produced, recorded, and released the breakthrough “NO LONGER BOUND” [feat. Hulvey]. Galvanized to start another chapter, its runaway success cleared the way for his full-length debut LP, CHILD OF GOD—which concluded 2024 as “the year’s best-selling Christian album,”picked up a Gold certification from the RIAA, and received his first GRAMMY® nod in the category of “Best Contemporary Christian Music Album.” However, the sequel reached even greater heights. Once again, Forrest personally produced or co-produced every track on CHILD OF GOD II. It bowed at #12 on the Billboard200 and made history by logging “the most weeks at #1 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums Chart.”Not to mention, it yielded the Gold-certified anthem “YOUR WAY’S BETTER.” The latter was 2025’s “#1 Hot Christian Song of the Year,” surged as one of a handful of Christian songs to break into the Billboard Hot 100, and took flight among Google’s top “hum-to-search” tracks of the year. He has earned the most Billboard Hot Christian Songs entries of any artist with 39 total and 11 Top 10 hits. By the end of 2025, he had notched the #1 and #2 “Top Christian Album of the Year”with CHILD OF GOD II and CHILD OF GOD, respectively. The Wall Street Journal marveled at how he “has exploded in the past year by making Christian music that pairs hip-hop inflected beats with relentlessly.” During the summer, a freak skateboarding accident had fractured his vertebrae in two spots. As part of a 30-day “journaling challenge” from his pastor, Forrest’s wife moved the cameras to the bedroom where he wrote “GOD’S GOT MY BACK” (literally!) on his back with a guitar across his chest. It exploded online, yet his Instagram caption introducing the song proved prescient, “TURNING LEMONS INTO LEMONADE.” Living up to the latter statement, the next drop, “LEMONADE” [feat. The Figs], only accelerated his momentum with nearly 100 million streams and counting. Within two weeks of the initial fall, he experienced a miraculous recovery and continued to share music. Along the way, life changed again. In December, he sadly said goodbye to his grandfather who proved to be a massive inspiration over the years and whose sermon even served as the opening video for the CHILD OF GOD II tour. In the same month, his second child was born. It’s fitting his last release of 2025 would be the aptly titled “THANKFUL”—a buoyant finger snap-driven bop powered by piano and an arrestingly catchy chorus.
Forrest has stepped into 2026 as focused as ever. More than six months before its start, sellouts on The Jesus Generation Tour included some of the continent’s most popular venues such as Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, CA, Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA, GEODIS Park in Nashville, TN, and Globe Life Field in Dallas, TX.He assembled a diverse lineup of special guests, namely Tori Kelly, Cory Asbury, and The Figs. Moreover, he impressively attracted a sold-out audience of 70,000-plus to the Houston Rodeo: one of the largest ticketed shows in North America. Hailed as a hometown hero, KHOU Houston noted, “Music artist Forrest Frank, who grew up in Fulshear, is blessed with talent as a singer, songwriter, musician and producer.”Nothing sums up his mindset quite like a simple line from “THANK YOU” sung with faith, “So, I’ll say it ‘til I’m done. Lord, thank YOU.”As he enters his biggest touring and release cycle yet, Forrest Frank has humbly reached the forefront of a new generation of globally relevant faith-driven artists.–Rick Florino, February 2026

OKAY – Forrest Frank

Lyrics: DMills, Axe Williams, Malachi O’Connor
Lord I’m just grateful that I got to wake up today
You take my worries and hurries and fade them to grey
You have good plans for me thats what you say
That’s how I know everything’s gonna be
I woke up late and the house is a wreck
Couple bills on the counter I don’t want to check
The car needs gas and an oil change
I guess I’ll get around to that next
Cause my son’s doing front flips on the floor
And I’m supposed to be a silly dinosaur
Somewhere in the mess I look to you
And a new song starts to break through
Lord I’m just grateful that I got to wake up today
You take my worries and hurries and fade them to grey
You have good plans for me thats what you say
That’s how I know everything’s gonna be
Okay (okay)
W’ere gonna be okay (ah yeah)
Okay (okay)
Gonna be okay (ah yeah)
Na na na na na
I stayed up late scrolling on my phone
Cause I said I needed space to be alone
But now I’m stressed out and over stimulated
Trying hard not to lose my patience
Cause my kids are making murals on the wall
And I’m supposed to take another business call
Somewhere in the mess I look to you
And a new song starts to break through
Lord I’m just grateful that I got to wake up today
You take my worries and hurries and fade them to grey
You have good plans for me thats what you say
That’s how I know everything’s gonna be
Okay (okay)
W’ere gonna be okay (ah yeah)
Okay (okay)
We’re gonna be okay (ah yeah)
Here we go!
I tell my worries you gone have to go away
I tell me body you gone praise the lord today
I know my haters they gone have a lot to say
But I keep on going and turn the cheek the other way
I tell my worries you gone have to go away
I tell me body you gone praise the lord today
I know my haters they gone have a lot to say
But I keep on going and turn the cheek the other way
I tell my worries you gone have to go away
I tell me body you gone praise the lord today
I know my haters they gone have a lot to say
But I keep on going and turn the cheek the other way
I tell my worries you gone have to go away
I tell me body you gone praise the lord today
I know my haters they gone have a lot to say
But I keep on going anyway
Lord I’m just grateful that I got to wake up today
You take my worries and hurries and fade them to grey
You have good plans for me thats what you say
That’s how I know everything, know everything’s gonna be
Okay (okay)
Okay (ah yeah)
Okay (okay)
Okay (ah yeah)
We’re gonna be okay (okay)
We’re gonna be okay
We’re gonna be okay (okay)
We’re gonna be okay (ah yeah0
We ain’t got to worry
We ain’t got to worry
Nah we ain’t got to worry
