So often the enemy will try to bring up our past and discourage us, reminding us of our mistakes and where we should be because of them. But as Christ’s followers, when we ask ourselves, where would we be without Jesus?

About the Artist
Peter Burton
Hailing from California, Peter Burton is a singer-songwriter and worship leader whose songs seek to lead people to hope. His music tells the story of challenges that come with the human experience, instantly creating a sense of familiarity with others and pointing them to the faithfulness of God through lyric and melody.
Growing up as an overcomer of mental illness, Burton experienced the beauty of how blessing and suffering can go hand in hand and how faith can transcend feelings. His message is Hope personified in Jesus Christ – the foundation on which his life and artistry have blossomed.
Burton’s journey started many years ago in his local church. When music kept him connected to God through turbulent younger years, he found that his heart for songwriting and creativity could be expressed in worship. Since then, he has been leading worship and now seeks to also bring the hope he has found to people outside of church walls.
From touring and writing songs with CCM artist Lincoln Brewster to helping start Thrive Worship, Burton has been around the professional music industry for many years. He contributed to their first album which resonated with many and charted at #1 on Billboard charts.
After several years and projects with the band, he recently stepped into following the call to solo artistry, releasing music from his journey. His debut single, “Where Would I Be,” established Burton’s energetic and catchy sound whilst conveying a renewed sense of hope permeating his music.
