If you have hot takes on Forrest Frank AND the songs we have at radio (including OKAY!), I want you to listen to this perspective. Your thoughts are valid but sometimes new information presents itself and my hope is that you take a look at all of this and consider making a new decision.
You can think whatever you want about Forrest Frank and his music. However, your audience LOVES him and they’re hearing him everywhere else: Socials, DSPs, on Tour (750k tickets sold…the #1 Christian music tour of all time and the #1 tour in the US since the end of May…ALL GENRES!). Forrest connects and shares the message of Jesus in everything that he does. OKAY! is a song for parents too! EVEN for parents who have grown kids…they remember what those early days were like…and I know they’re grateful for every chaotic moment and might even be reliving them as grandparents.
So if you think this song is NOT for you or your audience, why not simply give them a chance to hear it and weigh in for themselves? You might be surprised at the results.
