Ashes Into Beauty!

I know what it’s like “when the ground beneath my feet is shaking like a leaf.” I saw the goodness of God in the middle of my worst fear and shame. I lost my job in 2013. My son was 8 months old and we had no idea what to do. As I learned to fully trust the Lord in all my ways and lean NOT on my own understanding, He made our path straight. He didn’t just provide, He did so in ways I would have never expected. 

In 2015, I met Darren Mulligan. It was at CMB Momentum in the hallway outside the ballroom. He had shared a few things that really impacted me so I pulled him aside and thanked him. He saw me. He prophesied over my life and prayed for me. I felt like I didn’t belong and his kindness shifted a TON of things in me. Since then, ashes for beauty, joy for my mourning, strength for my weakness, pain for my healing…these have been my story. There are MANY layers to it all but I can say today that I’m thankful for it. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
