This Week's Fact

Fact Check

I’ve heard it said (from a consultant) that one of the greatest challenges Christian radio has is that it features the most unfamiliar music. Unfamiliar to whom? The PD? The GM? There are millions of people engaging Christian music every week right now on DSPs and social media…and millions more engaging your radio station. JWLKRS Worship as a collective has one the largest and most-engaged audiences in all of Christian music right now. More than 30 million people follower their brands and the individuals engaged in their ministry. If you don’t know Noah Schnacky yet you need to give him a follow. His sister Allie Schnacky is another one of the JWLKRS crew you need to follow along with…she hosts an amazing discipleship podcast called JWLKRS Podcast and is full of wisdom in the way she influences her generation to follow Jesus. This entire group is focused on one thing: Connecting people and discipling people to walk like Jesus.

And their music is focused on the same thing. “In The Name Of Jesus” has been connecting in a BIG way. There are already just shy of 10M streams on the song in the US. It’s already wildly popular in the US already on radio with more than 1100 plays on AIR1 where isn’t been in heavy rotation for the past several months. It’s also being added this week to KLOVE so it’s about to become even more familiar. Spins start there on Monday, November 11.
